Persistent Income Inequality: How and Why It Affects Health
June 11 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
As part of the Georgia Health Policy Center’s yearlong 25th anniversary celebration, we invite you join us for the next event in the speaker and film series, Persistent Income Inequality: How and Why It Affects Health.
Join us for a viewing of the film Inequality for All, followed by a discussion about the impact of reduced job and educational opportunities and low wages on health outcomes.
Following the film, local experts and longtime residents will explore the specific history and context of Atlanta that has created local income inequality and highlight promising efforts underway to change these trends.
Support provided by the Claudia Lacson Fund. This event is free and open to the public.
Registration coming soon.
