PUBLICATIONS
This playbook is organized with sections describing each of the priorities that were included in the Atlanta Transformation scenario. The sections include an introduction followed by a description of some of the possible evidence-based program or policy interventions that apply to that priority area, and where possible, specific examples. It is important to note that this draft of the playbook does not attempt to cover every possible intervention within each priority area. The intent, however, is to provide examples of interventions that investors and decision makers can envision as opportunities for change that will move the region toward health improvement. In addition, the sections may include overlapping topics or interventions due to the interconnectedness of the factors that impact health.
Large-scale social change requires broad cross-sector coordination, yet the social sector remains focused on the isolated intervention of individual organizations.
