FAQS
Thank you for applying for Rent, Mortgage, and Utility Relief. Your application is being submitted to a network of service agencies in your area. You will hear directly from that agency in two to four weeks if they are able to provide assistance.
Agencies in our cohort include:
- Atlanta Legal Aid/GA Department of Community Affairs
- Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation
- BCM Georgia
- Catholic Charities Atlanta (CCA)
- Community Assistance Center
- Crossroads Community Ministries (CCM)
- Emmaus House
- Midtown Assistance Center (MAC)
- Open Doors
- Star-C
Due to the number of applications we receive, please wait for the matched agency to contact you directly. If you are not a match, we will follow up with you with more resources.
We do not need any documents at this stage of the application. If an agency gets in contact with you, they will let you know what more they will need.
We currently do not have a set timeframe due to the high number of applications we receive on a daily basis. You will hear directly from a matched agency in two to four weeks if they are able to provide assistance. Your application will expire after two weeks if no agency is able to assist you at this time. Please note that the volume of need is high and exceeds our current available funding.
Unfortunately, your application has been denied due to the high volume of applicants and limited amount of available funding at this time. Although your situation and needs are important to us, we have received an overwhelming number of applications and we are not able to provide assistance to everyone who applies.
You should have received a confirmation after submitting your application. If not, please check the required boxes and make sure they are complete.
Thank you for applying for Rent, Mortgage, and Utility Relief. If you have not yet received a status update, we are still searching for an agency in your area that can assist you with this application. The volume of requests received often exceeds the capacity of service agencies. You will hear from a matched agency in two to four weeks if you qualify.
Unfortunately, there is no current way to expedite your application. We are working as fast as possible to assist those in need and will do our best to accommodate those that we can help.
